An affiliate program is a revenue sharing program where the affiliate (that's you!) drives traffic to a merchant's web site (that's us!) in exchange for referral commissions. When a visitor to your site clicks on the affiliate link to our site and completes a purchase, you get a commission on every item they buy!
We give our affiliates access to Trailers.com Affiliate Center that has real-time tracking, reporting, prompt monthly payments, and the flexibility of being included in any future affiliate program promotions!
Once you sign up for and are accepted to our program, you'll instantly be able to take advantage of fantastic banners, page peels and other promotional items you can promote to start generating money . You can log in at any time to get our banners and links, find out about commissions earned and even learn about how many impressions each of your links has received.
Step 2: We manually review all applications within 1-3 business days. Once your application is approved, we will send you setup instructions as well as banners, page peels, and text links that you can put on your web site.

Who can participate?
Just about anybody! Whether you run a large commercial web site, a small personal blog, a non-profit site, or anything in between you're welcome to apply to join the program. We also welcome owners of opt-in e-mail newsletters. All applications are manually reviewed, and we reserve the right to refuse any application, especially if the site or e-mail list contains objectionable material, participates in unsolicited e-mailing, is a "parasite" [more about parasites], or if it violates the Trailers.com Service Agreement.
Is my website eligible?
Typically 99% of applicants that apply for the Trailers.com Affiliate Program are approved. We do not accept websites such as sites that contain adult content, illegal activities, and etc. We review each application carefully and determine eligibility at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to reject or remove sites at any time, for any reason. Why should I join the Trailers.com Affiliate Program?
As an affiliate, you can offer your visitors access to the excellent values and tremendous selection at Trailers.com. Also, every time your visitors follow a link from your Web site to Trailers.com and completes a qualifying purchase you’ll receive a commission.
Does it cost anything to participate?
No! As long as you are an active affiliate, all you need to do is keep linking and collect your commissions.
How are sales tracked from my site?
Once your application is accepted, you will be given a unique affiliate ID as well as custom-formatted banners, links, and other items that will ensure that traffic coming from your site is properly tracked. We maintain a 30-day cookie, meaning that if a visitor clicks on a link from your site, you are credited with the sale as long as the visitor purchases within 30 days.
We record all transactions from your site in real time, meaning that all impressions, links, and sales are tracked instantly. Using the Trailers.com Affiliate Center interface, you can access real-time reports that provide information on impressions, click-throughs, orders, sales and commissions earned. The Trailers.com Affiliate Center has all of the resources you'll need to see how you're doing. You can use reports to find out which of your links are performing the best and to optimize your site for maximum sales.
How much will I earn? How and when do I get paid?
All new affiliates will receive a $25 sign-up bonus for joining and will earn commissions of 10% with a cookie length of 30 days. We pay affiliates monthly and when the commission balance is $50 or more (not including sign-up bonus). Please refer to the Trailers.com Service Agreement for more information.
How are commissions paid?
Commissions are paid on each net sale (after any coupon/discount), and do not include returns, sales tax or shipping and handling.
What happens if a customer I referred returns a product?
If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.
I'm signed up, now what?
Visit Trailers.com Affiliate Center page at https://affiliates.trailers.com and sign-in using your login credentials you chose during the sign-up process.
Once your application is approved, you will receive an e-mail welcoming you into our affiliate program. It will include all the instructions you need to get started. Once signed in to the Trailers.com Affiliate Center you will have access to real-time reporting, monies earned, and a ton of banners, page peels, text hyperlinks, lightboxes, and other graphics to help you generate commission in your account.
How do I create links to Trailers.com?
Current affiliates can get links, including banners, page peels, text ads, and other marketing tools here. We will be regularly updating Trailers.com Affiliate Center, to include lots of resources to help you sell. You're also welcome to create links of your own, as long as they conform to the Trailers.com Service Agreement and do not abuse the Trailers.com brand. Feel free to link to the home page, category pages (like Ladies T-Shirts for example) or to product pages directly but be sure to use the proper linking structure to ensure that you are rewarded for the traffic you send us. What kind of links are available to use for my website?
Once approved as an affiliate, you'll have access to a variety of links, graphics and other promotional items to feature on your website. The types of links include multiple sizes of banners and buttons, text links, as well as page peels, PDF downloads, and etc.
What is a parasite? What is your policy regarding parasites?
The term "parasite" refers to technology (including browser plug ins, helpers, popups, etc.) that intercepts and changes an affiliate's link. This technology is also known as "unsolicited commercial software" and is often found in Adware and Spyware software. Parasite activity essentially "hijacks" the affiliates link and the affiliate commission gets redirected to the parasite, instead of the affiliate who rightfully earned it. This type of software is normally installed unknowingly, often without the end user's consent. Can I upload a logo to display to visitors I refer to Trailers.com? Yes! All affiliates are able to upload a logo that will display on the menu of the Trailers.com Store. The logo must be sized to 270 pixels wide by 40 pixels high. If you are not experienced with formatting your logo to fit this size requirement (and make it look great!), contacts us and we will have one of our graphic artists format your logo for you . Any traffic that is generated from your website using the tracking links provided through the affiliate center will automatically display your logo, and continue to display your logo on Trailers.com Parts store anytime the visitor re-visits for a period of 30 days (while your affiliate cookie is active).
